If you are not absorbing your supplements, that’s money and good intentions down the drain. According to some studies, less than 25% of what’s in a supplement pill is absorbed. That’s where fulvic acid comes in.
What’s that you ask?
Rich soil is teaming with microbes – fungi and bacteria – that break down organic matter. This kind of soil is said to be rich in “humic deposits.”
An element within humic deposits is fulvic acid which transfers nutrients from the soil to the plants. Fulvic acid has a slight electrical charge which bonds to minerals and trace elements in the soil. That charge pulls nutrients up into the plants and voila! You have lush, healthy plants.
Today’s farm soil is typically low in humic deposits and fulvic acid because modern farming techniques do not focus on nurturing soil health, but rather “applying inputs” of chemical fertilizers and pesticides. These practices destroy beneficial microorganisms in the soil. Whether we eat the plant (think spinach and beets) or eat from the animal that ate the plants (think cows and chickens), we don’t get as much nutritional oomph these days from much of what modern farming produces.
The liquid supplement “pH Balancer” uses fulvic acid so our bodies can absorb what’s in it: 74+ organic and ionic minerals, 18 amino acids, 10 organic vitamins – including methylated B vitamins – and phytonutrients. Those phytonutrients, by the way, are what we juice vegetables to get.
You might look at the ingredients in this formula and say, “But where is my 1000 mg of (fill in the blank)?” Great question!
It is not how much we take, but how much gets into the cell. You can take 300 mg of CoQ10, but if the cell membrane is not sufficiently charged, it won’t all get in. So instead of 300 mg, you may be absorbing perhaps a quarter or a half of that. You are throwing away the money you paid for the “higher dose.” In fact, that’s why higher doses of pills and capsules became popular – smaller doses often were not effective.

Fulvic acid’s ability to electrically charge the cell membrane of living creations is Nature’s way of efficiently transferring nutrients to living cells. It’s the battery of life.

If cell membranes are properly charged, they will be accepting and you don’t need “supersized” amounts.
And here’s another big reason I really, really like fulvic acid. When we charge the cell membranes, we increase “cellular respiration” – the process by which our cells turn nutrients from the food we eat into energy (ATP) for everything we do. It’s where the rubber meets the road. Also, the better the rate of cellular respiration, the better cells also can expel metabolic waste (detox) and the more the body can heal itself.
Two time Nobel Prize winner and renowned scientist Dr. Linus Pauling testified before Congress in 1936:
“Every ailment, every sickness, and every disease can be traced back to an organic mineral deficiency.”
Q – Why is this multi called “pH Balancer?”
A – When our diets are mineral-deficient, often we feel tired and parts of the body start to suffer. As the downward health spiral continues, tissues become inflamed, and eventually the internal environment becomes more acidic – the pH drops lower. Viruses, bacteria, and cancer cells thrive in an acidic environment. Put another way, an acidic environment robs our cells of oxygen and voltage they need to be healthy.
Q – Why did you choose this multi over all the others?
A – I learned about fulvic acid first while gardening, and that got me to thinking. A few months later, I found Mother Earth Labs and said, “hooray!” The fulvic acid delivery system is simply the best because it is how nature designed the transfer of nutrients to work. I used to spend a small fortune taking many supplements every day. Frankly, it’s a pain to open lots of bottles and swallow a bunch of pills. I’ve learned a better way. I also learned “more” is not necessarily better.
Q – Besides fulvic acid, what’s in it?
A – The “Supplement Facts” label is below. Here are some important things I look for in supplements and find them all in “pH Balancer”:
- Vitamin D3. We need the bioavailable form of D3, not the synthetic D2.
- Vitamin B12 is from methylcobalamin, not the cheaper cyanocobalamin.
- Vitamin B9 is from methylfolate, not folic acid which is hard to convert for an increasing number of people with methylation issues (the MTHFR genetic variant). Methylation is key to our genes expressing in healthy ways, to the formation of enzymes and proteins, and to our “feel good” hormones.
- Anti-oxidants and natural cleansing herbal botanicals such as green tea extract, resveratrol, algae, pomegranate, and noni.
- Anti-cancer and anti-inflammatory agents such as turmeric (one of the very best foods we can eat for healthy gene expression), aloe vera (can slow the inflammatory cascade and help the immune response stay robust), dandelion greens (cleanse the liver, inhibit immune molecules that trigger inflammation, and MSM (sulfur needed for detoxification pathways).
- Immune system support with olive leaf, garlic, Pau D ‘Arco, and a berry blend.
- Alpha lipoic acid, CoQ10, choline, lecithin, ginseng, silica, milk thistle, burdock root, apple pectin, wheatgrass, seaweed, bee pollen.
(I also use their “Fulvic Acid Liquid Minerals Super Concentrate 400X” for when I am in the sauna, gardening, or playing summertime sports – activities where I will be sweating a lot and need rapid mineral/electrolyte replacement.)
Q – How do I take it?
A – Take 1 ounce – that’s 2 tablespoons – per day. It tastes good, promise. The best way is to take half an ounce in the morning, and the other half an ounce before 5 PM. Think of putting fuel in your body twice a day. But if a full ounce in the morning is what you can do reliability, then do that.
Refrigerate after opening. Shelf life is 9 months unopened. Their containers are made of HDPE pharmaceutical-grade plastics.
Children 10 and older can use pH Balancer.
Q – Where do you buy it?
A – It is not available in stores. This is shipped by mail. To order, click here
